​The Talyfan Herd of Saddlebacks from Elizabeth Rees in Llangodog won prizes at the Royal Welsh winter fair held on the 26th - 27th November 2012. The pigs were born on the 7th August 2012 and were shown at the age of 16 weeks in the Welsh winter fair. The pigs were shown in the pork category within a weight range of 55 - 65kg. With the 4 porkers that we took we gained, 1st and 2nd in the Traditional pairs and then 1st,2nd,3rd and 5th in the singles class. Our wining single pig went on to take the Champion Traditional pig. Our pair of pigs that won the Traditional pairs were both a weight of 64.5kg.
