All committee positions are held for a three year term before being up for re-election, with the exception of the secretary and treasurer positions which have a continuous term (until the committee asks them or they choose to stand down); the president which is a 2 year term; and the co-opted committee which hold 1 year terms. All current committee at the end of their term may re-stand for election at the AGM without nomination. Elections are held at the AGM in October and must be voted upon in person at the AGM. The co-opted committee members are voted on by the committee (not the club members) and are usually brought on for a specific skill, attribute or affiliation.
